Volunteer with SBWCN

If you live in Santa Barbara County and have one or two hours per week that you'd like to share with wildlife, there are many volunteer opportunities for you. Volunteers assist at the Care Center, feeding and caring for songbirds and monitoring the telephone helpline.

Others assist at our seabird pond facility. Experienced rehabbers treat animals in their homes. Those unable to commit to a fixed time can assist periodically with the rescue and transport of injured animals, or with the release of healthy wildlife back into nature.

Volunteer help is also needed to address letters, help with fundraising, visit schools to share information about wildlife, and various other tasks.
